25th FIAMC CONGRESS
SANCTITY OF LIFE AND THE MEDICAL PROFESSION FROM
HUMANAE VITAE TO LAUDATO SI

May 30 – June 2, 2018
Westin Hotel
Zagreb, Croatia

“…we hold those physicians and medical personnel in the highest esteem who, in the exercise of their profession, value above every human interest the superior demands of their Christian vocation. Let them persevere, therefore, in promoting on every occasion the discovery of solutions inspired by faith and right reason…”
Pope Paul VI, Humanae vitae

“When we fail to acknowledge as part of reality the worth of a poor person, a human embryo, a person with disabilities – to offer just a few examples — it becomes difficult to hear the cry of nature itself: everything is connected.”
Pope Francis, Laudato si
