OBJECTIVES

To consider the current issues concerning the health of mothers, with particular emphasis on developing countries and refugee situations.
To consider the organisation and activities of MCI and its national affiliates.
To consider the role and activities of MCI as an international health organisation.
To consider the role of MCI in the Church.
To consider bioethical issues, political concerns, and media problems.
It is also an opportunity to renew friendships.

PARTICIPANTS

Meeting open to obstetricians/gynaecologists, representatives from MCI, FIAMC, CICIAMS, and other interested Church, medical, bioethical and legal organisations, specialists in training, medical students, Catholic Women's Organisations, pro-life groups, political leaders and media representatives.
