Evangelium Vitae Award – Kathleen M. Raviele, M.D.

The Evangelium Vitae Award recognizes outstanding service to the Pro-Life Movement.

Dr. Raviele, a retired OB-GYN from the Atlanta area, has been involved with the CMA for many years. She was the conference chair for the 2007 AEC. She was president of the CMA in 2008. Since then, she has served in numerous roles for the CMA including serving on the National Board, as Chair of the FIRE Committee and as the CMA Consultant for the Pro-Life Secretariat of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. She has also served as volunteer medical director for the Pregnancy Aid Clinic for 10 years as well as the secretary for the Georgia Life Alliance. She is a member of the American Association of Pro-Life Ob-Gyns and completed the National Catholic Bioethics Center’s course on health care ethics in 2010.
