Even though the Philippines is a predominantly Catholic Christian country, it is not spared from the many anti-life programs being promoted across the country. The population control programs were carried-out by massive introduction of many forms of artificial contraceptives and sterilizations. As our way of reminding and re-educating the faithful on the evils of contraceptives and sterilizations, the HLI Pilipinas side-by-side with the inspirations from the FIAMC, the Catholic Physicians Guild of the Philippines and the National Council of the Laity of the Philippines are organizing a one-day conference.

The theme, “This is What We Believe that Life is Sacred“. The Faith & Life Conference invites delegates to deepen their understanding of the Catholic teaching that every human person is created in the image and likeness of God and possesses an inherent dignity that must be respected and protected from conception to natural death. Through Scripture, Church teaching, medical science, and practical witness, the conference will explore why human life is sacred, the moral challenges facing our society today, and how Catholics are called to defend, cherish, and promote the Gospel of Life with truth, compassion, and courage. The venue of the conference will be at the St. John of the Cross Church, Cahayag, Bohol. A medical doctor, a couple and a priest will serve as resource speakers. Join us in reaffirming our commitment to build a culture that respects, protects, and celebrates every human life.
