As part of the faith-deepening spiritual exercises during the lenten season, a special conference will be held on February 28, 2026 at the Holiday Plaza Hotel in Cebu, Philippines.

The lenten conference carries the theme, “Understanding the Three Days of Darkness based on the Bible, Prophecies and Science “. There will be two major speakers during the event. One, a diocesan Marian priest who will discuss the church-approved prophecies of Our Lady. The other speaker, a professor of science from a local university will tackle the issues on the possible scenarios of a nuclear war. 

Although, it is understood that the Catholic church acknowledges private revelations from some mystics like Blessed Anna-Maria Taigi and Blessed Gaspar del Bufalo but the event organizers primarily want to keep the faithful informed with a very cautious stance and careful discernment avoiding any controversies. And with the hope of spiritual vigilance with the emphasis on faith and repentance not only during this time of lent but at all times as we now face high degrees of global uncertainties. The one-day event will end with a Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
