On 11th September 2025, another date of infamy September 11th Charlie Kirk, young commentator or even influencer was assassinated at university campus in front of thousands of students

He was shot in neck and died virtually immediately. September 11th 2025-reminiscent of September 11th, 2001. Again, America and the world stood in shock.

Even from as far away as Australia when news filled filled the airwaves there was a sense of silence and shock. Indeed, even the noise of the shot could be heard. Followed by silence. Walking through city of Melbourne news was breaking and people just stopped

We did not know much about him except that he was a very moral, good, pro life, pro family, pro marriage young man married with two little children. A young man with a sense of great responsibility towards youth. He had a belief that it’s important to teach the youth about weighty issues in life and this to all youth on all campuses around the globe

His call was to youth to hear the truth for change of heart and with this they could change the world.

His background is of a good man with a morality different than what we have today, especially with the youth. A man devoted to his wife and children and a dream to reach out to and speak with the youth of his country

His association with Mr Donald Trump and JD Vance the White House has been highlighted and Mr trump’s extraordinarily strong words and feelings seen

Charlie’s belief was that it was important to change hearts and minds of the young.

I won’t enumerate his achievements. these will be reported over the coming weeks on all of media platforms, But I do want to reiterate his strong morality, his hope for a good future for all via the changing of hearts of the youth. Those who will be future.

What I do want to do is brig together some thoughts. September 11th, 2001, infamous day. September 11th, 2025, infamous day and not forgetting the most most infamous day of all time on a Friday some 2000 yrs ago, maybe even 11th

Many good men over Millenia have been assassinated for goodness sake but these we remember because each in their own way moved society from noise and chaos into stunned silence. A time of hatred, rage, violence, murder of innocents, stopped for a brief time and there was silence. As if there was an understanding of what hatred means

Charlie Kirk was a good man who had the attention of the youth who listened to his opinion but also respected those who did not agree with his opinion. He was able to speak about issues which no one else dared to because they would not have been listened to. He spoke about morality, family, babies, abortion, his strong faith and the listened.

And this is where the enemy (Satan) he was losing his grip on the youth. One of post assassination speakers also saw the strangeness of the moment. There were burnings of buildings, cars, no trashing, no violence, no enraged chantings but an unreal silence like we might have heard on a Friday two thousand years ago with darkened sky and those shouting crucify him, crucify him suddenly turning away from the effect of crucify him and silence and darkness which ensued. The silence was a silence of unbelief. The realisation that something so awful and unexpected had occurred.

The day that Charlie Kirk died started off as any normal day. A speaking engagement at a university. The usual nothing different, a day like any other day. Like Sept 11th, 2001, a normal day but they were not normal days. Like Friday (maybe also the 11th) also not like any other day. They served as moments of eerie silence and change. Nothing would be same again especially for those who experienced these days.

The “whys” the virulent hatred. Palpable. and its result? A hope for some silence, deep thought inconsideration about what hatred leads to loss of love, respect, and care for life

Charlie Kirk rest in peace. Thank you for your labour with the youth who will remember that there was once one of their own who died whilst he was speaking with them, and they were listening.
