At the end of the 31th Conference of the Pontifical Conference for Health Care Workers past president José María Simón was honored with the Pontifical Equestrian Order of St. Gregory the Great (Knight Commander).
Msgr. Jéan-Marie Mupendawatu, Secretary of the Pontifical Council, conferred the decoration on behalf of the Pope.
The recipient was grateful to Pope Francis, Msgr. Zygmunt Zimowski (RIP) and to FIAMC and will use this opportunity to better serve Jesus, Peter and the sick.
