New Charter for Health Care Workers – in multiple languages

The Church has always seen the service of the sick as “an integral part of its mission”, linking “the preaching of the Good News to the care of the sick”.

The text of the “New Charter for Health Care Workers” is a revision and updating of the first edition of this document (1994) while maintaining its original structure, which focuses on the vocation of health care workers as ministers of life.

In addition to advances in medical science and their possible impact on human life, issues of a medico-legal and social-health nature are addressed.
