Dear Professor Čivljak,

I acknowledge with appreciation your letter dated October 12, 2025, presenting three candidates for the position of Ecclesiastical Assistant to the World Federation of European Associations of Catholic Medical Doctors (FEAMC).

In accordance with Article 4, §7(c) of the FIAMC Statutes, which charges the Ecclesiastical Assistant of FIAMC with the responsibility to “appoint the Ecclesiastical Assistants of the Continental Federations, selecting them from a choice of at least three candidates, proposed by the Executive Committee of the respective Continental Federations,” I have carefully reviewed the credentials of the candidates you have submitted.

After prayerful consideration and evaluation of the qualifications presented, I hereby appoint Rev. Jan Dacok as Ecclesiastical Assistant to the Federation of European Associations of Catholic Medical Doctors – FEAMC, effective immediately. This appointment is made with due regard to his academic qualifications and pastoral experience, which I believe will serve FEAMC well in its mission to promote Catholic values in the medical profession throughout Europe.

I trust that Father Dacok will fulfill these responsibilities with dedication and wisdom, guided by the Holy Spirit in service to the Church’s healing ministry.

Please extend my sincere congratulations to Father Dacok as he begins this important ministry. I look forward to collaborating with him in our shared mission to witness to Christ the Divine Physician in the field of healthcare.

May Our Lord continue to bless FEAMC in its vital work of evangelization within the medical profession, and may Our Lady, Salus Infirmorum, intercede for all Catholic doctors in their noble vocation.

With every good wish and the assurance of my prayers,

Rome, November 1, 2025
