The Jerome Lejeune International Chair in Bioethics is pleased to invite you to participate in the great international congress “Humanae Vitae: the audacity of an encyclical on sexuality and procreation”, on May 19 and 20, 2023 in Rome.

Organized in partnership with the FIAMC and the FAFCE (Federation of Catholic Family Associations of Europe) and numerous institutions and universities, this congress is aimed at doctors, pharmacists, young people, couples, and trainers who want to (re)discover this prophetic witness in favor of the dignity of human life.

By confronting the difficulties of the contemporary world, with testimonies from doctors and couples, this Congress will be an opportunity to discover the audacity of this encyclical, the best bulwark against the manipulation of human life.

Cardinal Zuppi, President of the Italian Episcopal Conference, will give an introductory speech and Cardinal Ladaria, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, will give the first lecture.

Do not hesitate to register and to spread the word to the catholic doctors, who we hope will be numerous, because they have a major role to play in witnessing to the audacity of Humanae Vitae.
