Analise D Mello MBBS, MS obgyn, DNB

Today as I type this reflection, I mourn the loss of my pet cat .. of 4 years.

Losing a pet who is a regular partner of our daily mundane lives can be so painful.. while we seek some solace in loved ones as we get home, the wagging tail or purring head makes us feel calm and makes home the place we want to be.

Jesus sent his disciples with a commandment of love. The ultimate rule jn our faith. It is hard, to love someone who doesn’t make it easy to be loved. Maybe at work or at home ..

Putting faith into practise is very hard. Remaining in love with humans and God is harder.. As I mourn my pets loss, I want to learnt to be patient and calm like him with unconditional love for us and the absolute trust he had in us to never abandon us.

I want to have that trust in God and patience for the things coming my way.

You should too..

All this will happen if we pray and surrender ourselves to the Lord.

Amen.
