The National Council of the Laity in the Philippines, together with the Catholic Physicians Guild of the Philippines, HLI Pilipinas and the FIAMC is organizing an event on November 15, 2025 with the theme, “The Lies & Deception of the devil to Eve“. The main objective of this one-day event is for the attendees who will be mostly lay leaders from different organizations including the different para-medical professionals to understand the evil consequences that happened after Eve and Adam sinned against the laws of God in the Garden of Eden.

Each of the four lies will be discussed separately by four different speakers. A priest will talk about the first lie which is the “Lie of Temptation”. The second lie, the “Lie of Deception” will be presented by a deacon. The third lie, “The Lie of Independence” will be discussed by a lay leader and the fourth lie, “The Lie of Knowledge” will be discussed by a physician.

All the invited speakers will culminate their talks on the consequences of the different lies in relation to the current situation of the world today and of how these lies during the time of Eve and Adam lead to the miseries experienced by humanity to these days. The organizers likewise hoped to convey the message of the realities of the times like the introduction and adoption of abortion, divorce, gay union, IVF, and surrogacy and euthansia. And also side-by-side with the current “crisis of faith” on a global scale.
